Once again, I end the night with this verse
Christmas music streams and flows in the air
bringing gleeful warmth
the keys sound as I type
their rhythm
their pitter-patter speaks to the night:
"Gentle hosts of night, another is ending his night with a verse
take him into your shelter
ready him for the morrow
help him oh hosts of night
that he may succeed in the day
help him find all that he seeketh
help him find love
abolish hate
make a difference
lend a hand
summon the stars, Oh night!"
I end this night
shelter me in the night
